Rules to remember

  • Journal, Magazine and Média are masculine nouns; Revue, Presse and Télévision are feminine. Articles and adjectives must match the noun's gender and number.
  • Les informations is plural, and the definite article is already included. Média takes a final -s in the plural, as in Médias de masse.
  • In Couverture médiatique and Presse libre, the adjective follows the noun. It agrees with the noun in gender and number.
