Good to know

Politeness matters in conversation in German. Können Sie das wiederholen? is a polite request; Könnten Sie das wiederholen? makes it more tentative. Hast du kurz Zeit? uses informal address and suits someone you are on familiar terms with.

Ich sehe das anders expresses disagreement without necessarily rejecting everything that was said. Auf keinen Fall is much stronger and rules something out firmly. Some expressions need a continuation: Ich würde gerne introduces a wish, usually followed by an infinitive, while Darf ich hinzufügen, dass introduces a subordinate clause with the conjugated verb at the end.
